Saturday markets, Saturday 24 October

176 markets trading on Saturday 24 October.

67 of the 176 are farmers markets and 8 are night markets. The earliest start is 5am at Rusty's Markets in Cairns City. 27 of them run monthly and will not be back next week.

Saturday is the farmers market day in most of Australia. Producer-only markets, where the person behind the table grew or made what is on it, cluster here more than on any other day.

This is the coming Saturday specifically, so the monthly markets listed are the ones falling on that date rather than every market that happens to run on some Saturday.

Weekly and monthly are different outings

A weekly Saturday market becomes the way a household shops. A monthly one is an event you plan around. Each entry says which it is, so you can tell whether missing it costs you a week or a month.

Not on again next week

These run monthly, so this date is the one chance for a while. The date after each name is when it next trades.
