The Carlisle Collective works the way a permanent market works rather than the way a shop does. One large warehouse on Oats Street holds around seven separate independent traders, each running their own space under a shared roof and shared trading hours, with a hole-in-the-wall coffee shop, Wild Oats Coffee Co., fronting the building.
