Australia grows across five climate zones at once, which is why a single national list of what is in season is close to useless. Queensland picks strawberries through winter. The Northern Territory finishes its mangoes before Queensland starts. Tasmania is still picking cherries after the mainland has stopped.

This page works from harvest months rather than supermarket availability. That is a deliberate difference. A supermarket can sell you a mango in July because it came from somewhere else, or from cold storage. A producer market cannot, and if you are shopping at one, the harvest calendar is the one that tells you what will actually be on the tables.
