Dreamworld Night Market

Dreamworld Night Market runs two nights a week inside the Dreamworld theme park at Coomera, and it markets itself accurately as the only night market held inside a theme park in Australia. Rather than closing the rides down for the evening, Dreamworld keeps a couple running during market hours, so stallholder browsing and a ride on the Flyer are both on offer for the price of a $2 ticket.

Stalls, food trucks and a theme park backdrop

The market runs a rotating lineup of food trucks alongside handmade goods, fashion, accessories and homewares from local artisans, with live music from Gold Coast performers and street entertainment through the night. A 5 metre by 3 metre big screen plays cartoons and sport alongside the stalls, and the Dreamworld Flyer, lit with 3,000 LED lights and set against dancing water fountains, doubles as the market's most photographed backdrop.

Entry is free for children under 13 and for Dreamworld annual passholders, which keeps it accessible as a regular weekend outing rather than a one-off event night.

Good to know before you go

The market only runs Friday and Saturday nights, so it's not an option on other evenings. Budget an extra $10 to $15 on top of the $2 entry if you want to add the Flyer or Deep Sea Dodgems to the visit.
