Markets in Brisbane

Brisbane's climate does something to its markets that southern cities do not have to deal with: the good ones start early and finish before the heat. A 6am start is normal here and not the exception it would be in Melbourne.

The city's market scene leans towards fresh produce and prepared food more than towards craft and vintage, and several of the larger markets run on Saturday and Sunday both, which is less common further south.
