The Twilight Makers Market runs a deliberately awkward time slot, 4pm to 8pm on a Saturday, and that is the whole point of it. The line-up runs to more than 65 handmade and creative stalls from local artisans, which is a large number for a monthly market and a very specific kind of large. The 2026 calendar included two Saturdays in July and single dates in June and August, so the market is monthly in volume without being tied to, say, the last Saturday. The operators also run a separate quarterly series at the same venue called By The Bay, which means a Raby Bay date on a listing site is not automatically this market.

Check the date on the market's own calendar before setting out, because the Saturday it lands on moves. Cleveland is reachable from Brisbane by train on the Cleveland line, which makes an evening market genuinely doable without driving home in the dark. If you are driving, use the Bloomfield Street parking and take the steps beside the library rather than circling the harbour looking for a closer spot. Come hungry, since food trucks rather than a single kiosk cover the eating, and bring something warm for after sunset. Cash is worth carrying for the smaller maker stalls even though most take cards.
