Markets in Adelaide

Adelaide's market scene is anchored by its permanent halls, which trade several days a week and sit close to the city centre. Around them is a smaller circuit of weekend markets, and beyond that the Adelaide Hills markets, which are a genuinely different outing and worth the drive.

Fewer markets, more concentrated

Adelaide has fewer markets than the eastern capitals but they are less spread out, so visiting two in a morning is realistic here in a way it is not in Sydney. The Hills markets are the exception and mostly run monthly, so they are worth checking against the date rather than assuming.
