Time a visit to late November or December and the cherry stalls are the reason to come. Young has called itself the Cherry Capital of Australia for a long time, and the fruit on the stalls in season is picked close enough to the park that it has not seen a cold room. The rest of the year the stone fruit and vegetables carry it.
