Rather than fixed stallholders, the market is steered by the Sunshine Coast Official Food Truck Association (SCOFTA), which brings a changing selection of the region's food trucks each Friday. That rotation means the food on offer, from global street eats to wood-fired pizza, shifts week to week rather than settling into a static roster, giving regulars a reason to keep coming back.

Live acoustic music runs alongside the food trucks most weeks, and the market leans into its beach setting with picnic-style seating rather than a formal food court layout, so visitors can eat with the ocean in view as the sun goes down.

Good to know before you go

Arrive close to 4pm if you want first pick of the food trucks, since popular vendors can build queues by 6pm. Free parking is limited right on the beachfront, so allow a short walk from nearby streets on busy Fridays, and bring cash as a backup even though most trucks take cards.
