Evergreen Markets sets up inside the grounds of Newlife Church at 4 Greenwich Court, Robina, every Wednesday morning from 6:30am to 11:30am. It's one of the newer additions to the Gold Coast market calendar, built around a straightforward idea: most local markets run on weekends, so a genuinely useful midweek stop was missing from the middle of the week.

A five hour window built around a weekday shop

The stall lineup covers a working household's grocery list rather than a browsing-only craft circuit: fruit and vegetables, freshly baked sourdough, meat and seafood, fresh herbs, nuts and bulk foods, pastries, sweet treats and fresh flowers. That spread of eight categories is closer to a small weekly grocery run than a once-a-month special occasion market, which fits the early finish; stalls are largely packed down by midday, well ahead of the Wednesday lunch rush.

Robina itself is a planned suburb rather than an old town centre, built from 1980 on land bought by Singapore developer Robin Loh and now home to around 25,500 residents, Robina Town Centre, Bond University and Robina Hospital, roughly 12 kilometres south of Surfers Paradise. A church car park market fits naturally into that kind of master-planned suburb, where most gathering spaces were purpose-built rather than inherited from an older town layout.

Newlife Church provides the grounds, so parking is on site at 4 Greenwich Court rather than street parking. Bring cash and card, and get there earlier rather than later if sourdough is the target, since bakery stalls at early-morning markets tend to sell through well before the 11:30am close.
