The Woy Woy Waterfront Markets set up along Brick Wharf Road on the second Sunday of the month, right on the edge of Brisbane Water, and trade 9am to 2pm with free entry. It is run by Umbala Events, the same operator behind the Umina Beach markets a few minutes away.
A curation rule, not just a stall list
What separates this one from the other Central Coast markets is the entry condition for sellers. Every stallholder is required to have a creative input into what they are selling, which rules out the resale and distributor stalls that fill out a lot of general markets. The result is a smaller, more deliberately assembled market: handmade items, crafted pieces, locally designed products, homemade baked goods and street food, mostly from small businesses based on the Central Coast and the surrounding area. It is pet friendly, and the waterfront strip is flat and open, so it walks easily with a pram or a dog.

Brick Wharf Road is a foreshore street with limited parking directly alongside, so parking a few streets back and walking in is the usual approach; Woy Woy station is a short walk if you would rather take the train. The site is exposed to the water, which is a good thing on a warm day and less so in a southerly, and there is little natural shade. Bring cash for the smaller stalls.
