Nambour Rummagers Market
A third-Sunday rummage market of vintage, preloved and handmade finds on the Nambour Library forecourt, with a summer break.

About this market
Nambour Rummagers Market is held on the third Sunday of each month on the forecourt at Nambour Library, on the corner of Currie and Bury Streets, from 9am until noon. It is a market for vintage, preloved, second-hand and handmade treasures, with a live DJ and a sausage sizzle on the day.
Rummaging by the library
The 2026 calendar listed eight markets, on 19 April, 17 May, 21 June, 19 July, 16 August, 20 September, 18 October and 15 November. After that the market takes a summer break and returns in February 2027. The market's Facebook page, run under the Explore Nambour banner, carries the dates and takes stall enquiries.
Stall bookings go through the I Am Nambour website, or by message to the market's Facebook page. Nambour has other markets as well, including the Nambour Town Square Markets on Thursdays and a weekly village market, so a Rummagers Sunday is the one to pick for vintage and second-hand finds.
Market at a glance
Before you go
Nambour is 101 km north of Brisbane at the foot of the Blackall Range, and had a population of 12,145 at the 2021 census. The market runs for three hours, from 9am to noon, on the library forecourt.
The name Nambour comes from the Aboriginal word naamba, which refers to the red-flowering bottlebrush. Tom Petrie and a party of Turrbal and Kabi Kabi men entered Petrie's Creek in 1862 to cut cedar, and set up the logging camp that became the town. Currie Street, where the market is held, is named after Daniel Currie, who donated the five-acre site for St Joseph's Catholic Church. The Moreton Central Sugar Mill cane tramway, built from 1897 and closed at the end of 2001, left track that can still be seen along Mill, Currie and Howard Streets.
The Nambour Rummagers Market takes a summer break, with its 2026 calendar ending on 15 November and the next market returning in February 2027.
Check the Facebook page before you set out, since the calendar skips December and January.
